Kalamitsi beach is classified as a medium sized beach on the southern tip of Sithonia. Situated in a small bay the water is sheltered, but having a direct opening to the sea it is remarkably clear. The beach is well organized with restaurants, beach bars and lots of sports opportunities. There is plenty of space that is not organized, so if you prefer to throw down a towel and go for free it is an option. The sand is soft, no pebbles here, and it continues far into the water.
Access is easy, just off the main road of Sithonia you turn into town, all roads take you to the beach. Lots of parking along the beach.

A relaxed beach but will all the extras. Some of the best lunch restaunts in Sithonia. Great diving and snorkelling.
