Goa beach is a small beach just south of Sarti. The beach is organized by a beach bar and the atmosphere that they create will make you think you landed on a beach in Asia. The beach has got nice sand and an amazing direct view to Mount Athos. It is surrounded by the mountain on 3 sides, so to some extent it is sheltered. You may get some waves on this beach on a windy day.
Access is relatively easy with a car. Heading south from Sarti a few kilometers you climb a hill and when the road turns right you will see the sign on your left. Take this turn to the left and follow the dirt road down to the bottom.
What’s great about Goa Beach
The atmosphere is unique in Sithonia, also the beach had good sand. Organized enough to keep you there for the day. Amazing sunrise, get here early. Lots of parking.
And what’s not…
Can get a little crowded weekends and high season. Music can be loud but not necessarily a negative feature for everybody. You need to travel down a dirt road.
