Karagatsia or Ftelies beach is a small beach at the end of a bay on the western side of Ammouliani. The mountain around the three sides of the beach are quite high and give Karagatsia good protection from the wind. This beach has some organization from a beach bar that provides sun beds and parasols. The beach, as all the beaches on Ammouliani, is soft sand and the water is clear. This is a very tranquil place that most will love, especially in the evening you can relax and watch the sunset.
Karagatsia beach is about 2 kilometers from the village travelling north and then west. It is not difficult to reach and there is parking.
What’s great about Karagatsia Beach
Smaller, tranquil beach with some organization. Good fishing in the bay and amazing sunsets.
